About this listen

I was only inside the corner store for less than a minute before a masked man entered the front door carrying a gun.

The brawny man headed directly toward the counter.

A short and thin woman stood behind the register. Her name tag read “Sheila.”

The armed assailant pointed his pistol at Sheila and held out a bag with his other hand.

He yelled, “Empty the register.”

Sheila did not immediately take the bag from the robber. Nor did she press a button on the register.

Instead, she froze in place with fear.

She wasn’t alone.

I was on the other side of the mini-mart in the potato chip aisle.

I had come in here for a snack and some lottery tickets.

Until a few seconds ago, I thought it might be my lucky day.

Apparently, I was dead wrong.

I would be fortunate just to get out of here alive.

Great Read

Tiny House, Big Trouble (Southern Midlife Treasure Trove Cozy Mystery #3) was a great read by M.Z. Potts. Hannah was inside the corner store for less than a minute before a masked man entered the front door carrying a gun. He went right to the counter where a short and thin woman was behind the register. The armed assailant pointed a pistol and robbed the store. Sheila just froze in fear. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Entertaining cozy mystery

This was an entertaining addition to the series. I found the story captivating and although it is not a long book to listen to, I was hooked.
Tiny House, Big Trouble was a good cozy mystery with suspense, intrigue and enough clues to satisfy my amateur detective heart.

Have you ever been in the right place but at the wrong time? That’s what happens to private detective Hannah when she finds herself in the midst of a robbery at the Everly Street Gas Station. Could Hannah’s recent run of good luck be about to run out?

When her detective friend Tyler arrives to find out she is one of the hostages the pressure builds. It clarifies feelings between Hannah and Tyler and made for an entertaining journey. Of course adding to my enjoyment, Daphne, Hannah’s best friend makes an appearance as does her boss Ryan, both secondary characters that I love.
This is a well written story that kept my attention. Narrator Stephanie Quinn did a good job, and I enjoyed her performance. Be prepared that this one ends in a cliff hanger I hope we don’t have to wait too long to see how things are progressing in Treasure Trove.

I really enjoy this series, this one being an excellent story. It seemed to bring out so many feelings. The characters are always good, but this book showed emotions from all angles, The narration is done with a lot of feeling.

Another well written & enjoyable read/listen

With more than 125 reads from author Meredith Potts/KM Morgan/Amelia Morgan, I welcomed the chance to read Tiny House, Big Trouble (Southern Midlife Treasure Trove Cozy Mystery Book 3). So when I got the chance to re-read/listen to the Audible edition I again jumped at it. Longer, at 3-hours 25-minutes/177 pages, than many of the author's books I've read in her other nom de plo͞oms never-the-less well-written & enjoyable. not just another cute, clean cozy mystery she's continuing to lay the groundwork for perhaps her best character & series to date. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Much different from the others

This book was filled with suspense which is much different from the other cozy mystery books from this author. There was a lot of character development that really made you understand the viewpoint of each character during the action. The narrator did a fantastic job giving all the characters different voices. The story wraps up, but there's an exciting cliffhanger that leads to the next book.

Good story with good narration and emotion

I enjoyed this story. It was different that the other two in this series, no real mystery to solve. Hannah found herself in a situation that could go one of two ways, and she had a chance to realize what was important. Those in her life also had the chance to figure out what matters. There was a bit of a hint at the next story at the end. I also liked the "ramblings" of the author on the writing of this story.

When given a chance, I enjoy listening to audiobooks. I love listening to Stephanie Quinn as she brings these characters to life. With the change in tempo of the story, she brought more feeling into the narration, especially due to the more serious nature.
