childish but sweet

I love the Author, but this book seems very childish, like it was written by a very young person, imagining adulthood.
I did love the choice of location and hoping to travel there one day.

The narration is bad

Lots of mispronouncing of words and sounding uninterested at times in the story. I’m shocked that this could be the author reading her own story. The story was ok. I agree that the way the lead behaved was immature and all of Bridget’s drama was way over the top for what actually ended up being the issue.

Lacked depth

The main characters lacked depth until the last few chapters. It was a struggle to finish unlike the other books by this author.

FUN FUN FUN!

I laughed and cried! I loved this book as much as Every Summer After, which I adored! The chemistry between Lucy and Felix is off the charts!!! The loyal friendship between Lucy and Brigitte is so sweet. This is such a great feel good story that kept pulling me along that I couldn’t put it down. I will read this one again and again. A true beach read book. AJ Breidel is amazing as always and brought the characters to life!

outstanding read for summer

this was a very soft and cute love story between family friends and how relationships begin and flourish into a beautiful story about true love honesty and life moving fowardno matter the direction you chose to go.

Engaging romance set in Prince Edward Island

Chemistry among the characters is great. It’s hard to put the book down. I hope this gets picked up for a movie.

Just ok; narration not great

Bridget was the low point of this whole book. Narration was another low. Overall story and especially the end were good to great.

Fun read!

Another good ready from CF! Loved the relationships between best friends, siblings, and Lucy and Felix. I now have PEI on my bucket list of places to visit!

I love a good love story

It’s been a while since I’ve fallen in love with a love story. Finally something good! I felt the connection, the build up. And I really enjoyed both their personalities. Lots of spice, lots of angst. Their relationship grew over time. Realistic and I loved every second! Wonderful narrating !!!
