Gum Chewing

was the narrator's chewing gum, the whole time it was some kind of chewing noise in the background. Enjoyed reading it more.

Coming of Rage and Undoing

Unique and unnervingly beautiful. The writing is well done and the story is gripping. The characters are relatable and interesting and the growth experienced in the horror of the world they are in is tangential to readers.

An interesting kind of horror

I absolutely loved this story and I thoroughly enjoyed the narrator’s voice and how easily the Vietnamese accent/words came through. Her voice also fit Nhung quite well, loved this!

I cried a lot

I felt very seen when the gender questions began to pop up. “Monsterhood is a girl’s body you don’t belong in.” That was such an exceptional line. Great mystery book. And found family always makes me emotional. I loved this read and the narration was amazing. A soothing voice even when stuff was hitting the fan

This was a blind buy. Great Author just not my type of story. This would be a great book for a teenager.

it's too much of a slowburn for me. The story itself is a bit different from what I normally read and not very scary. I could see this book being great for others.

im having auch a hard time paying attention,

it's just alot of talking and not much of anything other than slow moving conversations about feelins about living in a crap situation. i wanted more horror or atleast something compelling. Just found it dull.
