About this listen

This is a story about a cabin in a small town, a workaholic New Yorker who hates the holidays, and a hot-nerd local doctor who loves Christmas...and flirting. It starts to snow. There is also a dog.

It’s a short, sweet, hilarious, and steamy Christmas story to enjoy along with your eggnog.

Just kidding.

Nobody enjoys eggnog. Enjoy this with something chocolatey (unless you’re allergic to chocolate).

*This audiobook has duet narration!

Such a cute HEA!

Such a cute Christmas novella! The banter was hysterical and even better delivered by the wonderful narrators, Connor Crais and Erin Mallon. I laughed out loud so many times.

such a steamy & funny Christmas novella

First off: the title and the meaning behind the title already had me chuckling. There Is Also a Dog will have you laughing with the dialogue between the heroine, Jillian, and her sister and with our hero, Mitchell. There is elements of insta-love in here. The epilogue featuring Agnes, the french bulldog, was adorable. This novella is a great quick holiday read and of course, there is also a dog…

Performance: Connor Crais and Erin Mallon performs this fun novella. They do such a great job that I enjoyed every minute of this 1 hour and 23 minute performance.

Best Narrators!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

As soon as I saw the narrators and the style, duet narration I got it. I love Erin Mallon, she’s the best narrator. I only have heard one duet narration with her. This is probably the second one in audible, not that I don’t love Erin’s male voice, but there’s just something amazing about this style. Connor Crais is another favorite. I just had to get it. All the stars in the world for this performance ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kayley Loring writing style is hilarious. Erin, Connor and Kayley make a great team, we need more from them, and please keep the duet narration!

Cute, quick holiday listen

Here we have an independant NYC career gal meets a small town ophthalmologist who keeps lollipops on him in this super cute holiday novella. Jillian is intentionally looking to be snowed in for a few days over Christmas and a friend hooks her up with a vacation rental up in the mountains when her internet goes out and she reaches out to the cabin's owner, Mitchell. Mitchell stops by with Agnes, an adorable Frenchie Jillian falls in love with instantly.

My only complaints are that I wish this book was a little longer so we could get to know these three better, but I went into this knowing how short it was so that's probably my own fault.

Erin Mallon and Connor Craiss bring Jillian and Mitchell (and Agnes!) to life perfectly in this slightly spicier than Hallmark version of finding love in a fake blizzard.

THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You're looking for a cute, quick, holiday listen and also happen to love dogs.

Short Story Holiday RomCom perfection!

Kayley Loring writes my humor. She is the queen of a well timed joke or funny lines. Ones that in a comedy the actor would say to the camera or out the corner of their mouth and create so much character building. I love it! This short story was not short on fun, comedy, steam, and sweetness. It was a perfect Holiday read/listen!

The audio felt made for the narrators, but especially for Erin Mallon. Her timing and the jokes were so perfectly suited for her I couldn’t get enough. Connor Crais was so fantastic as the nerdy doctor. This pairing was so well suited for a duet narration. So glad I waited for the audio for this story!

HOT Christmas story...and a perfect dog!

What a wonderful little holiday treat! Although quick, I loved this story of finding your true HEA after heartbreak. The flirtiness between them, and to see it transform into something more was beautiful. The heat between these two was off the charts!

Of course, this story doesn't happen without Agnes. I truly loved her role in this cute story.

Connor Crais and Erin Mallon did a wonderful job narrating.

Steamy, Christmas-y... and there's also a dog!

Jillian is a workaholic, Christmas-hating paralegal from NYC whose apartment just had a sewer backup incident. Obviously, there is no way to stay in Manhattan during the holiday season, but her friend Maddie (yup, that Maddie from A Very Bossy Christmas!! )  comes to rescue and tells her that her friend Mitchell has a cabin in Catskills that just became vacant. Jillian heads there expecting a homey place with good wi-fi (she has to work, dammit!), not knowing that she will find the swooniest, sexiest pediatric ophthalmologist waiting for her... and there is also a dog!

Previously released as a short story in the Smartasses anthology, this longer novella is the perfect kickstart for the holiday season! All I want for Christmas is Mitchell... and his dog! It's steamy, it's Christmas-y, it's swoony and if you don't finish this story pining for a blue French bulldog we can't be friends! The epilogue written in Agnes's POV is to die for!

The audiobook, narrated duet style by Erin Mallon and Connor Crais will be out by the end of the month and I can't even!

LOVED IT!

Narration: Narrated duet style by two favorites, Erin Mallon and Connor Crais, it's sweet, steamy and the epilogue is a gem! Perfect!

FINALLY! A male & female narration done right!

Ok, this is a horrible story. Actually, there is no story. It’s all just one sex scene.
BUT, for the first time (for me, anyway, and I’ve listed to a lot of dual narrations), the male reads ALL the male voices, and the female ALL the females. No H reading the female role, and vice versa. No two different voices for the same role. Have been wondering for years when audible was going to get it right. And btw, the narrators are great. Erin Mallon, especially, is a favorite of mine.

Fast and fun

One night stand turns into lust and/or love at first sight

Connor Crais and Erin Mallon are epic together. Love the dual narration.
