Thrilling book that kept me guessing.

This is a great book by Holly Seddon, narrated incredibly well by Olivia Dowd.

It kept me guessing, thinking I knew the plot only to be tricked time and again. The ending is superb, great spin away from tradition.

Recommended listen/read. 5*

Very, Very Good.

This book is exceptional in every way, two women on a collision course with each other and what seems to be “fate” make for a phenomenal and very cleverly constructed story.
I won’t describe all of the wonderful things that make this a highly entertaining and wonderful book, just trust me, it’s excellent in every way.
I know that we all love a good karmic ending, where the bastards that did those heinous things get what they deserve.
But this one doesn’t exactly play out like that.
The book is still utterly incredible, but as one reviewer described it, the ending is a bit “soul crushing” it’s still very well done, surprising and very unexpected but dammit! Not what I wanted to happen!
Again, this is a GREAT book so yes, listen, use your credit, you will be highly entertained in every way.
It’s smart, well thought out, incredibly well executed and my goodness that voice and articulation belonging to Olivia Dowd, she’s rapidly becoming my absolute favorite voice actor.
She is so talented and so easy to listen to, truly gorgeous, I could listen to her read just about anything.
Listen to this book, you will not be disappointed.

An exciting & intriguing story with excellent narration! I thoroughly enjoyed this “edge of your seat” drama!

Wasn't horribble, I'd say that it was a valid attempt . The narration was superb.

Soul-crushing ending

I really liked this story - right up until the end. If you too enjoy a book where really terrible people get their comeuppance and the good are vindicated and live happily ever after, skip this one. The narration is stellar, but I just can’t get over the brutal, unsatisfying conclusion.
