Already a witch at breaking point, I really can't be dealing with the latest scandal affecting my life. I'm busy selling spells when my brother accidently kills a werewolf, attracting the wrath of my enemy, the Brighton Pack alpha, Malone. His attack leaves me with a scratch that turns me into the first ever hybrid-witch and solidifies my expulsion from the coven, leaving me all alone. I'm not sure how much more I can take.

When Malone smells his toxins in me, he vows to help me through the first shift. As alpha, his responsibility is to his pack and turning a witch is against sacred wolf laws. His pack will disown him if he doesn't get rid of me. He's ready to rectify his wrong, threatening to end my life, until I shift and the mating bond is evoked.

Can Malone reject the forbidden pull towards me in order to keep his pack? Or will I be able to escape before he claims me and jeopardizes his position as alpha?

Not bad.

This was my first time that I can recall listening to a witch /wolf book.

The narration could of been better especially as a duet. I think if you want to give this a try reading it vs listening to it.

Story was good and it can be a good standalone not too much of a cliffhanger.

Hybrid

I liked the book, beginning to end. I'm not sure why it has some negative reviews, the story was a good build up for the next book. The narration was great too.

good story without a cliffhanger

This is a standalone with a second. ook continuing with the same characters. I enjoyed the opposing forces instead of just a stubborn alpha. The narrator was great with female voices; however, her alpha voice was more evil villain than sexy rumble, and she couldn't get the emotions right. A duet would have been much better.

Great Characters

I liked how she showed her characters having foibles they seemed a little more honest in their reactions, then say some characters in other books have, and finding those in the storylines just made you grin because you would think yeah if this was me which, of course, it’s fantasy, but I’d probably react that way too, so that’s what made her characters stand out for me compared to other books I read I think anybody would enjoy this who likes paranormal romance and fantasy

Horrible

If I could rate a zero I would. The narrator was horrible, the story was horrible. There was very little narrative from the lead male. Very little real interaction between the couple. Had to listen to her bad narrative for most of the book. If that wasn’t bad enough, the story didn’t end. You have to get the next book for closure. Don’t bother, it’s not worth it.

This was really boring. Wrote perhaps for a sensitive person. DNF.

it was okay. I was annoyed with the characters. the female character would think something and do the opposite. the characters didn't act rationally. the fl was going to leave the whole story and then she would go home or to her shop and I would be like weren't you leaving.
