Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

It has been one of the most influential books in the history of literature. Thich Nhat Hanh acknowledges that because suffering can feel so bad, we try to run away from it or cover it up by consuming. We find something to eat or turn on the television. But unless we’re able to face our suffering, we can’t be present and available to life, and happiness will continue to elude us.

Great Explanations
This audiobook discusses the many different types of 'witches,' the laws of attraction (like attracts like), the power of positive thinking and visualization (manifesting), journaling (writing your intentions), affirmations (spells), going with the flow (the universe has your back). The book does an excellent job of explaining these things, and more.
The narrator is fantastic; her voice really lends itself to the subject matter.
I am a Christian, and I firmly place my faith in the salvation of Jesus Christ. However, I know there are many other 'faiths' out there, like paganism and witchcraft. I listened to this title to see what I might learn and to try to find some common ground with them.
And I did! From this audiobook, I learned that many followers of mysticism...
Embrace their love of nature.
Believe in the healing power of plants and herbs.
Recognize that there is power in words, for good or ill.
Recognize there is that same power in thoughts.
Accept that there is energy running through all living things.
Believe there is energy in minerals.
I can agree with those things; well, I'm not sure about energy in minerals, but hey, obviously, mankind does not understand how everything and everyone is interconnected (one look at quantum physics confirms that). There may very well even be dimensions of which we are not yet aware. Perhaps there are people who unknowingly tap into these avenues and facilitate actions or knowledge. Who am I to disagree?

The rituals and practices introduced are simple yet meaningful, making it easy for beginners to get started without feeling intimidated. If you’re looking to awaken your inner witch, this guide is an excellent place to begin.

This is excellent for beginners
I really didn't know much about witchcraft prior to listening to this audiobook. My interest is in living a life that is more natural, and I like to learn about different ideas related to that topic. I thought this audiobook was a really great introduction and I felt like the author did a great job of explaining witchcraft in such a way that was applicable to today's world. I really enjoyed the information about the different herbs and incantations. She was very thorough on the topic, even discussing how to find the herbs and take care of them in a way that they are useful. If you have any interest in this topic, I think you would find the audiobook to be very informative and helpful.
