interesting story....not heavy...
the reader was extremely robotic...drove me crazy...sometimes all I could hear was the cadence of her voice...

Woke
This is a fairly woke book. The reader has to assume that children at 7 to 10 years old can make decisions and have the awareness of people in the late teens to early 20’s. If you like or enjoy that type of culture it may be a good read. Good narration overall, plot was a little weak. Can’t say I enjoyed it that much but I did finish it.

Character development was excellent and had my attention
I enjoyed the detailed and nuanced character development. It set the story firmly for each adventure in the main character’s life. I had a hard time putting the book down because I couldn’t wait to see how it unfolded. This was a real page turner!

Nothing to see here
This book was decent, but it is about a girl from 8 years old to 30 ish. Thus is a book that you can miss 6 chapters and still becaught up.
