Publisher's summary

To date, some 100 million copies of The Way to Happiness are in circulation in more than 114 languages and in over 170 countries.

“It is truly a guide to living a happy and productive life. The day-to-day challenges we face often seem insurmountable. However, honesty and kindness are contagious. The sharing of these traits will make our world a better place.” (Undersecretary of the Army, Washington, D.C.)

“The book The Way To Happiness should be an inspiration to everyone. By following the advice contained in the book, there is no doubt that all will benefit personally and successfully across life's path.” (City Mayor, California)

How do you find real happiness? It can be difficult to keep going when times are tough, or when the choices others make set you back or hinder your progress toward your goals. Here are the real-life, doable actions and attitudes that help those around you build up values based on commonly held, easy-to-understand virtues and precepts.

People from all walks of life use this book every day to dramatically improve their happiness.

“One can feel at times like a spinning leaf blown along a dirty street, one can feel like a grain of sand stuck in one place. But nobody has said that life was a calm and orderly thing: it isn't. One isn't a tattered leaf nor a grain of sand: one can, to greater or lesser degree draw his road map and follow it.” —L. Ron Hubbard

When one follows these principles and assists others to do so, one’s own happiness and survival can be improved.

With over two hundred million copies of his works in circulation and dozens of international bestsellers, L. Ron Hubbard has inspired a movement spanning every continent on earth. All told, those works comprise some 5,000 writings and 3,000 recorded lectures and, as such, stand as the single most embracive statement on the human mind and spirit. His breakthroughs have helped millions lead more successful lives and achieve true happiness.

Outstanding!

Our public discourse has deteriorated because personal virtue and ethics have become old fashion! Very easy to resurrect these in one's own life and that of others with this brief reminder!
I'm aware or miracles from wide public use of this book.

Common Sense Guide to Happiness.

Having been a business owner for nearly thirty years, trying to operate in the current economic environment can be quite depressing to say the least. Having to let long time employees go, sales dropping to levels of fifteen years ago, gas again back to $4.00 a gallon, etc., I found it more and more difficult to find happiness.

However, after listening to this common sense guide to happy living I now find that happiness is actually attainable and by striving to incorporate these guides into my life I find that happiness can be had. This is a book that a person could and should listen to regularly as a reminder of why happiness can allude them. I highly recommend this book to anyone searching for common sense solutions to the everyday problem of living.

A must read for all!

I’ve read this book a couple times and always get new things out of it. It’s so light and simple, so that you could easily read it to kids. But it’s SO powerful. It takes the complexities of life and our search for happiness and puts order into it all. If everyone read this and applied even a little bit of it, what a world we could have. Truly inspirational, in a common sense kind of way. Forever a favorite.

This book really is a guide to better living.
It has made a profound and stabilizing effect on my life.
