An unusually thoughtful thriller
This novel stands out for excellent character depictions and development, especially with the large cast of minor characters, and for surprisingly sensitive insights into matters of social class and gender expectations that transform cliches and stereotypes into real human beings. The author's careful crafting of the world of The Savannahs apartment complex is rare for this genre.

Very entertaining story with wonderful characters
I’ve listened to a lot of audiobooks this year and forget many of them as the formula is so similar.
This book has a wonderful group of memorable, oddball, lovable characters that I felt I knew. I especially loved the relationship between Cass and Sinatra. What a cool kid. I definitely recommended this heartwarming, engaging thriller. Well done!! The narrators were also spot on.

Nice twists and turns.
I enjoyed this book. I found myself laughing out loud. I love the camaraderie of the different people at the apartment complex. This story had enough twists and turns to make it enjoyable even though some were predictable.
Definitely worth a listen.
