I went from start to finish in one day. I could not tair myself from listening to this! best I've read/listened to in a while! !!!!

Thoroughly enjoyable

I found this story very entertaining. I liked the plot. Good tension and obvious attraction between Annyn & Garr but no sex.

Captivating!

This book delivers twists, but not so much that it be rendered unbelievable. I look forward to the next in the series.

Entertaining, Griping and Great

I loved this story. I don't know how anyone could find it boring when there was something going on all the time. You never found out who the murders Annyn's brother was until the very end. Annyn & Garr were wonderful characters, fleshed out and with depth. Remember the title of the series of books is the age of faith so there are a lot of conversations about faith during that time. Annyn's mother died when she was young so she was just raised as a son, swords, daggers, bows and arrows, fighting etc. Her brother was sent to Garr a warrior to train. While there he lost his life. The story is about Annyn thinking Garr killed him. She goes there to train so that she can get close enough to Garr to kill him for killing her brother. Its all about what happens.

I loved it!!! I never lost interest. I read a few reviews that talked about the religious aspect of the book but for the time line it was expected to me. People were very religious back then.

Two wounded souls that find each other & it’s incredible!

I have been burning through all of Tamara Leigh’s medieval books. This one is a standout! Wolfruth is such a strong character he needed a strong character to be his love. The way these two meet is mind boggling. Your heart goes out to each one in turn the whole book! Your mind & heart are engaged the entire time! This is a love story for the ages!

Readable. Satisfying. Language not a problem.

Took me 12 chapters to get into this, but was satisfied by the end. Kept wondering what reviewers meant by language issues. Some gratuitous roughness and belaboring of the friction between the two main characters but, as I stated, I was glad the story worked out to be satisfying.

Another great novel by Tamara!

As always, amazing narration, intriguing characters and enthralling story lines! Tamara never disappoints. Must read!
