The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
Experience a bold take on this classic autobiography as it’s performed by Oscar-nominated Laurence Fishburne. In this searing classic autobiography, originally published in 1965, Malcolm X, the Muslim leader, firebrand, and Black empowerment activist, tells the extraordinary story of his life and the growth of the Human Rights movement. His fascinating perspective on the lies and limitations of the American dream and the inherent racism in a society that denies its non-White citizens the opportunity to dream, gives extraordinary insight into the most urgent issues of our own time.

Jacques Ellul’s The Technological Society has become a classic in its field, laying the groundwork for all other studies of technology and society that have followed. Ellul offers a penetrating analysis of our technological civilization, showing how technology - which began innocuously enough as a servant of humankind - threatens to overthrow humanity itself in its ongoing creation of an environment that meets its own ends. As a child in Montana, Jamie Gehring and her family shared their land, their home, and their dinner table with a hermit with a penchant for murder. But they had no idea the odd recluse living in the adjacent cabin was anything more than a disheveled man who brought young Jamie painted rocks as gifts. Ted was simply Ted, and erratic behavior, surprise visits, and chilling events were dismissed because he was “just the odd hermit”. In fact, he was much more—Ted eluded the FBI for 17 years while mailing explosives to strangers, earning the infamous title of Unabomber.

Some say that this work, found in a safe-box in the port area of Kowloon, was dictated because Bronze Age Pervert refuses to learn what he calls "the low and plebeian art of writing". It isn't known how this work was transcribed. The contents are pure dynamite. He explains that you live in ant farm. That you are observed by the lords of lies, ritually probed. Ancient man had something you have lost: confidence in his instincts and strength, knowledge in his blood. BAP shows how the Bronze Age mind-set can set you free from this iron prison and help you embark on the path of power.

A Chilling Look into the Mind of the Unabomber
I was both disturbed and intrigued by this book. While I certainly don't condone Kaczynski's actions, I found his manifesto to be a fascinating (and disturbing) look at the mind of a truly disturbed individual.
The part that really stuck with me was his critique of modern technology. While I don't agree with all of his points, I do think he raises some valid concerns about the negative impact of technology on society. It made me think more critically about my own relationship with technology and how it affects my life.
I've already recommended this collection to a few friends who are interested in true crime and psychology. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you're interested in understanding the motivations behind Kaczynski's actions, it's a must-listen.

Very interesting to see how the mind of a criminal
It's unsettling, for sure, but it gives you a window into some dark and complex thoughts. The manifesto itself can be repetitive, but if you're curious about the mind behind the crimes and how he saw the world, the biography at the end adds a layer that’s worth considering. Not an easy read, but it does make you think.

Inside the Mind of a Madman
The Unabomber Manifesto Collection is a disturbing yet compelling exploration into the mind of one of the most infamous domestic terrorists in American history. This collection offers a chilling glimpse into the ideology and motivations that drove Ted Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, to commit acts of violence in the name of anti-industrialism and radical environmentalism.
The manifesto itself, "Industrial Society and Its Future," presents Kaczynski's critique of modern society, technological advancement, and the erosion of human freedom. While the writing is articulate and meticulously argued, the ideas within are extreme and often unsettling. The collection also includes commentary and analysis that help contextualize the manifesto within the broader framework of political and social discourse.
