About this listen

From E. Lockhart, author of the highly acclaimed New York Times best-seller We Were Liars, which John Green called "utterly unforgettable," comes The Treasure Map of Boys, the third audiobook in the uproarious and heartwarming Ruby Oliver novels.

Ruby is back at Tate Prep, and it's her 37th week in the state of Noboyfriend. Her panic attacks are bad, her love life is even worse, and what's more: Noel is writing her notes, Jackson is giving her frogs, Gideon is helping her cook, and Finn is making her brownies. Rumors are flying, and Ruby's already-sucky reputation is heading downhill.

Not only that, she's also running a bake sale, learning the secrets of heavy-metal therapy, encountering some seriously smelly feet, defending the rights of pygmy goats, and bodyguarding Noel from unwanted advances.

In this companion novel to The Boyfriend List and The Boy Book, Ruby struggles to secure some sort of mental health, to understand what constitutes a real friendship, and to find true love - if such a thing exists.

Nice

I like this one more than I had expected. It was a nice follow up to book two.

Yes!!!

I read the first two books years ago and was obsessed, but I never had time once I started reading the 3rd book (The Treasure Map of Boys). So about 2 years later I finally finished it because of Audible since I can listen while doing other things it's great!! And I loved the ending how it wasn't the perfect love story ending but it was more realistic. :)

5 stars for story 1 for narration

Great book, bad narration. Let me start by saying this is a great series. But unfortunately the narrator from book 1 (The Boyfriend List, narrated by Mandy Siegfried) to book 3 was changed. (There is no book 2 audiobook.) The main character, Ruby Oliver, is 17. Mandy made her sound like a 17 year old. Kirsten makes her and the other characters sound middle-aged. Her narration ruined it for me. I got through chapter 1 before turning it off & ended up spending more money on a physical copy of the book. Now Kirsten has a nice voice and I'm sure if she narrated something else, she'd do great, but she just did not work for this. But definitely get this series, especially book 1 on audio, but unless narrators don't bother you, spend your money on one of E Lockhart's other great narrated books.
