SO GOOD!

Okay, we can mark Felix down as one of the best characters ever written. What an absolute angel baby. Felix and Jake don't have an easy story. They had a lot they needed to work through before they could truly reach their HEA but it was so worth it. This book has the perfect balance of comedy mixed in with heavier moments that really prevented this from being a heavy, depressing book. Their banter is top tier and I laughed out loud many times. Highly recommend this audiobook!!

This book was PERFECTION! I'm a recovering alcoholic, (7 years sober) and not to diminish my own disease, but I can't imagine trying to recover from drug addiction!

I'm obsessed with these 2 young men. And Iggy Toma us always one of my favorites, but he totally embodied Felix!

Spice was great. 🌶 🌶 🌶 of 5 on my spice chart.

Both MCs have my heart, is a sad but beautiful book. Addiction is such and awful disease, everybody should read this book.

Relatable about addiction

Liked the way the addiction explanation was covered in story. Although anyone serious about society knows, to steer away from relationships w/sponsors or fellow addicts. When attracted to same sex, the rule usually should revert to a male/female,etc, idea for a steadier recovery program in my opinion. Which has been my experience in recovery. However the ending did stress need for sobriety to be focus rather than relationships in the first year & maybe more when two addicts want a stronger recovery together💙 Thank you for the story.

Plus and Minus

My biggest complaint is the much too-frequent use of the “b” word. I’m really not a fan. I also disliked how one of the m/c’s clear need for anger management—almost as badly as he needed rehab—was ignored. Really made him unlikable at times. Felix, however, is practically perfect in every single way. The biggest plus is the humor. I laughed out loud sometimes. Root beer and vanilla ice cream, man! The narration is probably the only reason I completed the book. Just reading probably would have been a DNF for me.

I had this book on my TBR for the last year and finally decided to just listen to the audiobook after seeing the reviews. I was not disappointed. I love both Felix and Jake so much. What an incredible story!
