Omg Brittney did it again!!! I’m so in love w gray and waited so long for this one. Now that it’s over I’m sad. But if you haven’t read this series from beginning to end then you are missing a lot. Go get the books. They are amazing!!!

The only thing better than reading this book is listening to Aiden Snow and Kit Swann bring this fantastic story to life! Brittney Sahin writes amazing stories with all of the suspense, adventure, romance, and HEAT you could want as well as characters you want to meet. I HIGHLY recommend!

Absolutely PHENOMENAL Listening Experience

What can I say? Brittney Sahin has once again delivered an absolutely incredible addition to the Falcon Falls Security Series.

Gray Chandler and Tessa Sloane are both broken. Gray literally and figuratively and Tessa emotionally. Thirteen years ago Gray was wounded in combat and Tessa found herself being his physical therapist. What neither expected or admitted was that the therapy was both physical and emotional. They found a connection, but when their sessions ended, they both were left with scars and wounds unseen.

A chance meeting has Tessa’s heart reawakening and Gray’s heart breaking. And once again, a door is closed. But a few days later, Tessa finds herself calling the one man she knows that can save her…Gray. She’s in a foreigner country with no memory of how she got there. One call, and Gray forgets everything but getting to Tessa.

Protecting Tessa is at the forefront of Gray’s agenda. But he’ll have to fight both of their pasts. And just maybe if he can save her, he can win her heart. He won’t walk away again.

Add in some old friends, family, and nemesis and you have another amazing story. Sahin delivers impeccable research, storylines, and set ups for future books that leave my anticipation levels at an all time high. And she gives us a tasty tease about the Falcon Falls Security Leader, Carter, that has me on the edge of my seat.

This narration duo was absolutely amazing. My first time listening to Aiden Snow and Kit Swann together and they more than met my expectations. They took me on a journey. I could feel the ups and downs, the fears, the hopes. Excellent audible experience.

The last two books have been hard to stop listening too. The whole series has been fantastic. I’m ready for the next one with Jack, falling in love or Carter..

Terrific Story & Listen🎧Gripping & Emotional!

This fantastic romantic suspense is captivating from start to end and I loved everything about it, from Britney Sahin’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines she created to the perfect cast narrators who bring is all to life from the pages to your ears. This book is the fourth in the series but stands on its own, sometimes when you jump into an existing series you feel like something is missing, i.e. world building, but no worries here, everything you need to know is detailed. Though I am excited to check out the earlier books in the series, as well as her other series. “The Taken One” is Gray Chandler and Tessa Sloane’s story, and wow, what a story it is. Gray, former military, was injured while serving in the US Army, he recovered from his injuries and is going to physical therapy to learn to walk again with his new prosthesis. He and the therapist he worked with grew a special bond, but she is leaving to finish school and when he goes to say goodbye to her, he learns she is his colonel’s daughter and completely off-limits. Despite the colonel warning him to stay away from her, their goodbye turned into a memorable night, one neither one forgot. Fast forward eleven years, they run into each other again, she and her friend have their own practice and Gray is considering moving back to town. Because of a misunderstanding, their run in was cordial but brief, but a friend of Gray saw his reaction to her and wound up giving Tessa his number in case she ever wanted to call, which she contemplated doing but never did. That was until she had to, she was in deep trouble, injured in another country with no memory of how she got there or what happened in the last week, with no phone she only had two numbers memorized, one was not an option the other was Gray’s, so she called him and a good thing she did because she is in way over her head and she does not have a clue of how, why and who is after her. With Gray and his team on her side, they vow to protect her and find investigate what is going on. I loved the complexity and layers of the story, the plotting and world building is fantastic, as are the character growth and development. There is never a dull moment, and it has the perfect balance of drama, angst, action, mystery, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful second chance romance. Britney Sahin, thank you for this fantastic story and the wild, take me to the edge of my seat, ride. 

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Aiden Snow and Kit Swann are the perfect cast to bring these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that suited that character, and were believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance, making you feel every single one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

I am a fan of this series, and this one did not disappoint! The story lines are so rich and intricate. This one might be favorite so far!

A wonderful second chance romance

This book has it all: romance, action, suspense, danger, espionage and adventure with many twists and turns. This fantastic story will take you on a wild ride and keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The chemistry between Tessa and Gray was palpable. Aiden Snow and Kit Swann we’re both phenomenal in their respective roles. You could feel every emotion through their voices. I received this audiobook for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review.
