This topic is so very important, most of us will come to this book looking for answers on how to save our marriage, or enjoy the fullness of joy we anticipated on our wedding day. This audio book is good, however it is abridged and simply leaves out way too much information. Fortunately I bought the book as well as this audio book, using the audio to get a jump well waiting for the print version to arrive.

If I only had the audio book I would be left feeling Mrs. Doyle had done a very superficial job of dealing with a complex range of issues. After reading the print version I realize she did an excellent job, and this abridged version is at best an overview.

Very good book

I read a lot on such topics and many books don't bring anything new to the table. But this one does, despite being concise, it's really valuable and full of useful advice.

I have listen to this audio book twice. She has some good information to give. I am very hard headed and this will be a hard one for me.
What is the definition of INSANITY doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting the same results.. So let's give this a try...

Tips for Humility in Marriage

Practical tips in being a humble wife for a loving and fulfilling marriage. I’m normally a strong willed person full of ideas and quick to action, so the idea of surrendering control to my husband seemed so foreign to me at first but then it just felt so freeing, natural and I feel peace about. It doesn’t take anything away my my capabilities or brains of whatever.

What i hadn’t considered is that while woman want equality in marriages within our culture. They also want a hero. You cant have it both ways. The author made profound points and I’m excited to apply them to my marriage and relinquish control.

Great book! I wish it was longer and I can’t wait to apply to my life . I’m astatic to see my husband’s response to be surrendering.

not my cup of tea

The book comes from a good place, I believe, but I couldn't listen past the part where you have to let your husband do the finances and just not worry about it because men are just so much better at handling money.
This is no wise advice and should not be stated as a blanket statement for all people or declared to be the "right" way to be a submitted wife.
I felt like I was being belittled listening to the book.
Silly little woman, don't you worry your pretty little head about money! your husband will magically find more money than you in the budget!
This is nonsense and if it starts out with such strong nonsense I don't have hope it will get better.
