I finished this book in record time because I just couldn't quit listening. They couldn't have picked a better narrator.

the Summer House

loved this book. excellent character development. very likeable. you feel like you can envision the characters. it is a feel good story about many of the characters coming to terms with their life choices and moving forward.

Good story

I like the book and story line. Im not crazy about the narrator, I felt that she made some of the characters sound less intelligent than what the author wanted to Portray

Easy Summer Listen about New Beginnings

A feel good listen. Sweet, predictable story about new beginnings. I was looking for some "brain candy" and this fit the bill. A few twists and turns, but you knew what was going to happen. Narration was good, at least in my opinion. If you've had a parent live at a retirement village - or if you live at one - you'll get a kick out of the personalities.

Book was ok

The book was good, but not great. The narrator was enjoyable. I I did not enjoy the way the book ended.

Slow. Not much of a plot.

The good: it’s clean and sweet. No dark surprises.
The bad: it doesn’t really go anywhere. Very slow pace.

Pleasant summer read

Well written but predictable story with little drama. I liked it for a change of pace and listened to over a summer road trip.

I loved the characters and the story. You won't want to stop listening to this story.

Sweet story but not worth the credit

It’s a sweet story, but there is no surprises or plot twist at all. It was 100% predictable and little to no conflicts what so ever. I just don’t love it when a book doesn’t grab my attention and keep me through the end.

I expected a little more drama from the ex husband or mother in law but nothing.
