Publisher's summary

The body in the lake was only the beginning.

When Vivienne Walker becomes one of the prime suspects in a murder that sends shockwaves through the community, her guarded secrets begin to unravel. As investigators dig deeper, the cracks in Vivienne’s carefully crafted life begin to show, and the dark truths about her past start to emerge.

Her brother William is still reeling from the mysterious disappearance of his wife, Cassandra. But the discovery of the body stirs up dangerous new questions—and unearths secrets long thought buried. With each passing day, the growing tension between William and Vivienne threatens to expose a devastating truth neither of them is prepared to confront.

When a shocking autopsy discovery turns the investigation on its head, the search for answers becomes a deadly game of deception and survival. In this psychological thriller where nothing is as it seems, trust is a luxury no one can afford.

Your next psychological binge!

Do you love a good edge-of-your-seat story with twists and turns that make you say, ‘Just one more chapter’? The Sister-in-Law by Samara Cove is just that!

In this fast-paced psychological thriller, Cove keeps you captivated as you unravel the depths of the characters’ relationships, lies and secrets that you won’t see coming!

This story goes back and forth, between past and present, which gives the reader two captivating plots that come together wonderfully with shocking revelations at the end.

I really enjoyed all of the twists, personalities and perceptions involved. One of the best books I’ve read this year! I cannot wait to see what Cove has up her sleeve for her next upcoming novel!
💯 recommend!

ok but not believable

Decent storyline but the investigation was so unbelievable that it made the story not worthwhile. No good characters.
