My first thought is for my girls, but they are there unhurt. With relief, we push the chilling sound to the back of our minds, returning to our drinks and conversations like it never happened.

Easy read but average
Easy read/listen, but felt drawn out. The beginning of the book was entertaining but it drug out in the middle and seemed fairly easy to discern where the book was ultimately going although there was a surprise twist at the end but even that wasn’t overly satisfying.

I don’t know it started out suspenseful and it kept my attention until the abrupt ending that made no sense at all this book had so much potential to be an amazing story it needed more substance
