loved meeting CC
another great addition to the series, with fantastic narration.
I can't even begin to explain how much I appreciate the way the author wrote about domestic violence.
It wasn't dangled out like a gimmick or thrown in to create some extra tension or anything like that.
The GMC was CC and CC just happened to be in an abusive relationship. It was a part of her story, but it didn't define her or her story. She is so much more than that.
Unfortunately DV can be pretty common and many people are affected by it. It's not always the loud in your face screaming and punching kind of abuse. One of the worst things (in my opinion) is how great and likeable the abuser can seem to others. It's heartbreaking to hear from others how amazing the person who treats you like trash is.
and I'm rambling, anyways this was an excellent addition to the series.
Huge thanks to the author for the way she tackled this one 😊
I really loved being able to see these two get their happily ever after, one that they totally deserved!

Beautiful story!
This was one of my favorites from the Arrowhead series. Dannika Dark is my favorite author. Like always she found a way to make you connect with the characters and feel like you know them. I love that she can bring fantasy characters and real world situations together.

So perfect
I really didn't think I could like this series as much as I do, but it's just so good you can't help it. I love that the main female character is still strong and can stand up for herself in the end even though she suffers from domestic abuse. Plus we get to enjoy chats and scenes from the other characters we feel in love with in the previous books.
