Publisher's summary

Books 17-20 in this USA Today Bestselling Series...

Firing Line

Jones finally has his number called. Someone from his past is gunning for him. What's really worrisome is that whoever it is, might have skills that even surpass Jones'. After finding out that their secret office isn't as secretive as they thought, the team has to assume that they're being watched, and listened to, at all times. Recker will have to call on old friends, and some new ones, in order to help find the identity of the person who's after his friend and partner. Can he accomplish that before Jones is eliminated?

Hardwired
Jones intercepts a message from someone reaching out for Haley for assistance. The Silencers split up temporarily, with Haley out of town and helping someone from his past. Recker is left to deal with an impending threat from someone he is all too familiar with, who is once again upping his efforts to gain more control of the city. With the help of Malloy, Recker will meet this growing menace head-on as Vincent's grip of the city starts to loosen.

Execution File
It's a normal day for The Silencer team. On a routine mission, though, things are about to get strange. Recker locks eyes with a foreign agent he crossed paths with years ago. The only problem is the man is supposed to be dead. And Recker was the one that killed him. Is he seeing a lookalike? Or is he really seeing the ghost of a man he thought he once killed?

Center Mass
After a string of diamond robberies rock the area, it finally catches the attention of the Silencer team. Though their initial efforts don't reveal who the culprits are, they soon are given a list of names of the most probable suspects. Will they be able to find the people responsible before they hit again? One things for sure it wont be as easy as it appears.

like the series. have all of them 1-20. The only thing is that Mia is Annoying. She is always question Mike, and when danger is near she becomes dumb. She needs to move on. Mike she is a nagging.

Mike Ryan does it again

I have followed many of his story lines and thoroughly enjoy them. His narrator is also one of the best. He brings the characters to life

simply fantastic

Another fantastic book in The Silencer series! The manner in which the author brings to life each and every character all while ensuring to capture the attention of the listener or reader each and every time he creates another book in this series, is pure magic!! And if you are listening to the audiobook version of these books or any of the books within this series, the person who narrates these books actually brings each and every character to life while also adding certain nuances which personalizes and distincts that character from every one of the other characters is a true magnificent! Which makes just shows the true gift that this narrator has!
Also I would like to point out that the way the author writes each book in this series provides the entire story line from the first page to the last page, unlike some book series in which there is some sort of cliff hanger or the story line has a continuation in which there may not be a cliff hanger but that particular book or books does not provide the satisfaction of having the knowledge of the actual conclusion of the series (saga). This is also seen in various movies, for example Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (and yes I am old enough to have experienced each of these movies back when they were first released back in the 70s and 80s) or for those who remember the Matrix series, these are what I am referring to as completing one movie with a good ending while not providing the actual ending and picks up where the last movie ended.
My reason for going into so my depth is just to illustrate the differences between how one style of series is created vs how this particular series was created. With The Silencer series, one could read any book within the series and enjoy it without having to read the remaining books within this series, as there is a beginning, middle and clear ending in each of the books. And when beginning to read a different book in the series, the book focuses on whatever new issues which arise while also producing new characters who are providing whatever new issues which occur. However, there are two books in which the person of interest is carried over to the next book, are the only examples of this series, at least from book one through twenty.

In conclusion, if you decide to read a single book or listen to the entire series, you will not be disappointed in your selection!! These books and the entire series (up through book twenty) has to be one of the best books and series in which has been my pleasure of listening/reading in my entire sixty plus years!!
With that I would just like to say to both the author and narrator...... Bravo!!
