Easy listening

This is an easy listening story. For me it was the Hallmark channel of books. Not in a overly sappy way, in a make you happy way.

Just disappointed with ending

I enjoyed the story until it just ended. It seemed unfinished, like maybe the author just got tired of writing, or had something else to do instead.

Agree about the ending

This book reads pretty slow. It’s a sweet story and the characters are well written. Their friendships are beautiful despite being different ages and in different circumstances. The ending is abrupt so plan on getting book 2 if you don’t like just randomly stopping with the character. It doesn’t leave you in suspense… it just stops…

Slow then better

Slow start but then gets way better, so keep on reading it. It’s worth it!
