I'm a huge fan of Michael Dillon Scott and this collection didn't disappoint. I hope he continues these stories in some fashion. They are a joy to listen to

Back Stories of the Alchemyst series,

I enjoyed hearing the back stories of the main characters in the Alchemyst series, Mr. Scott is detailed in his descriptions and clever in linking these stories to the Alchemyst series.

Changes in pronunciations make it hard to listen

The pronunciations is so far of the previous books, that it was hard to recognize many of the characters and creatures at first.

I am sad that the stories came to an end. I hope they will continue in the future.

Great Addition to the Series

I loved these background stories to different characters in the Nicholas Flamel books. It’s such fun to have some background into the characters.

not as good as the series

The narrator was horrible. His narrator voice is fine, but his voice for the characters sounded like the Martian from Bugs Bunny and ruined it for me. Also, these stories weren't always congruent with the storyline in the series...for instance, characters redeemed at the end of the series acting like their changed selves here tho some of the timeline is set way before the series.

Why change the narrator?

The new guy should have learned the names from the old audio books. I am not sure if I am correct but in the series some of the characters meet for the first time and this prequel says different!
