An important historical document

A fascinating and important document that will be placed alongside other documents that have defined the American culture. The information does get a little repetitive at times but overall tells a compelling and tragic narrative instigated by the former president Donald J. Trump. The male narrators are fine but the female narrator has these bizarre inflections in her voice that makes her sound like she is reading trashy gossip.

Heavy on the story telling. Light on reality

As an official political document this was utter garbage. Only one unsubstantiated point was made and then copy/pasted to every bullet point.

As a fictional political thriller, it wasn’t bad. I’d watch that movie.

So disappointing

I was ready to hear why the impeachment had merit. How, for example, people listening to Trump at the Ellipse heard him say to go to the Capitol, a long way away, when entry was made around that same time. Also, how did they explain that, when he said in the same breath that they should assemble "peaceably" there, that he was nevertheless inciting violence. Also, I did not hear them explain why the FBI, who had heard on social media plans to enter, and anticipated problems, so much so that they had encountered a dozen of these posters in the days leading up to January 6th, did not insure that the Capitol Police, headed by Speaker Pelosi, had sufficient forces to address the perceived threat. Finally, they did not cite any instances of Trump supporters at well-attended rallies using violence or otherwise engaging in lawbreaking, such as burglary, looting and arson. Of course, they only had a few days to prepare, given their haste, so I suppose t is forgivable. Because, of course, speed is more important that preparation for an impeachment of the leader of the free world.
