loved it!

I 1st found Steve Higgs about 4 months ago. And have been blasting through all of his books sense of then. This was the 1st audio book of his that I have listened to. The narrator was great. The story was fast paced, and full of heart. I highly recommend this and any book by Steve Higgs.

If your reading this...pass on this series.

Weak plot - the series meanders along to predictably.
Narrator's voice did not fit the main character. He sounds like the Diablo game narrator.
Books are too short to make it worth using credits.

set of 3 turned out to be too long for me .

I didn't like the length of the three books or the accents , German, I presume, and in the end I skipped about 6 hours listening to the last half hour.

Wanted to like this but...

Really wanted to like this book and I think I would have except for the narration. It's aweful, couldn't get past.

Interesting premises

Did not like the reader at all. Did not bring the story to life. Higgs’ best work is still the culinary caper series.

Very good voice actor

Enjoyed the story just wish it had a happier ending. Like how the demons and angels were constructed like heaven and hell we think of. Want the demons to lose their immortality when they come to earth.

Couldn’t make it past the narrator

I go through a lot of audiobooks but could not make it past 20 minutes with this narrator. It sounds like he’s speaking while holding water in his mouth. The story seemed interesting but I might have to try it on kindle.

Steve Higgs is creative

The Realm of False Gods: Box Set 1 is a creative set by Steve Higgs. If you enjoy paranormal/fantasy books with magic, you will enjoy this set. Steve Higgs is one of my favorite authors and I have read many of his books and I have listened to the books I have read and I love his audio books. Tim Todd burst gives an outstanding performance as the narrator. This book is a home run for lovers of magic/fantasy/paranormal stories.

Great book not so Hot Narrator

The narrator at the beginning of the story was difficult at times to understand and the character voices all pretty much sound the same so it can be confusing at times. But the story itself is great and I hope the next set is as good!
