A Well Narrated Series of Poetic Prose

"The Prophet" is an interesting, if somewhat abstruse Series of poetic prose authored by Khalil Gibran, who was born in Lebanon and moved to America as a child. His writing has a mystical poetic aspect to it and I found some of it difficult to understand and appreciate.

The audiobook is very well read and is faithful to the Kindle. I read and reread most of this and still struggle with it. But the narration itself is very well done.

I am glad that I read this work, but could not really appreciate it and can't see myself reading this again without specific cause. Speaking for myself, I get quite as much from reading the Wisdom Books of the Old Testament as I do from reading "The Prophet". Thank You...

Must read, but better buy the original book for more pleasure

I’ve read the book 2 times in Arabic
2 times in French
10 times in English
And this is my first time as Audio!
It’s certainly worth having, the narrator is good as well in her nuances!
