I'm sorry, but the finality the narrator uses each time he says 'Jefferson(or any other name) said' bugs the jeebs off me! I love Scalzi so much, but this story, I will have to consume in written form. I only got about five minutes in before my toes were so curled I had to stop for risk of injury...I remember nothing but a cork and that darn Jefferson...

review of preformance only, my own opinion

This short story felt like an episode of Twilight Zone. good for a free off or $1 read.

Quick and Quirky

I love Scalzi so perhaps I’m biased... this was a very entertaining way to laze around while surviving a migraine. The story is tight and inventive. And any work that incorporates the Tunguska Event is tops in this geologist’s book!

Highly enjoyable!

Fun, clever, and the reason John Scalzi is having a difficult time finishing any book or short story is because of the current brainless buffoon in office.

Classic Scalzi

Another gem from Scalzi. Too short. I want more content. He keeps blessing the world with excellent stories that griping, witty and clever.

Brilliant.

I so enjoy Scalzi shorts as they are super clever and fun too. Great deals also

Cleverly done

The only thing I dislike about Scalzi as a writer is his incessant use of "(person's name) said" for almost every sentence in a dialogue. When you're reading his books, your eyes can flit over it & ignore it for the most part, but it becomes obvious when listening to audiobooks.

Other narrarators worked around it as best they could, but this narrarator emphasized it. It made it really hard to enjoy the story.

Yet another great story by John Scalzi, even as short as it is. Very well developed and even sounded plausible in a funny way! PJ Ochlan did a great job narrating it as well!

Fun short story!

As with much of John's work, I would love to see more out of the universe he built here. Decidedly lighthearted as the title suggests, and it made me laugh.

Short but a lot of fun

A unique idea, well written, performed flawlessly. Very thought provoking. I have become a big fan of Scalzi, and once again he didn't disappoint.

A great short story!
