Great job

I was very impressed with this book.
It was very realistic and pretty spooky.
All the perfect families find out that they aren't so perfect.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! I loved every second of this, and now that it's over, I don't know how I will possibly be able to replace it!!!

Story deepens and twists

1/3 into the book I was ready to put it down. I gave a bad review. The characters seemed shallow and terribly one dimensional and unlikeable, from the cop to the kids to the protagonist. But the writing pulled me back. Both the story and characters deepen and grow more complex as you go. By the end I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you, like me, are tempted to put it down, keep going. The second half makes it a worthwhile read.

Amazing Narrator and good story too

The narrator is awesome. I actually thought it was multiple narrators. Probably the best I’ve heard and incredible story made breathtaking experience. Scanning for another White/Presley read.

This was my first time listening to a Loreth Anne White book. It was captivating from the beginning to the end. I have listened to over 200+ books over the years. I will most definitely will be looking for more books by this author!

Thrilling!!!!

Loved this so much!!
The story was incredible, inspired by true events that made it horrifying. It is a story that will have you searching for the details of the true crime just so you know what actually took place. This kept me disturbed long after I finished the story.
Excellent narrator! Loved audible version.

Wow! Just WOW!

The twists and turns in this book had me listening every spare moment I had! The back and forth through time and characters had me guessing “Who dun it?!?” through the entire book! So many possibilities. The narrator did a great job with voices too. I love this author and this book completely solidifies my trust in her books delivering a top notch read.

Solid Story

Some of the plot twists were obvious - others were surprising.
The wrap-up was fine, and more could have been done to explain one character's backstory.

Great storyline. Did not see the end coming. My husband and I listened together and both really enjoyed the book.

Started out interesting….

It grabbed my attention in the beginning but halfway thru it became hard to like the main character or honestly any of the characters. I love the narrator, she is one of my favorites.
