Good follow-up to the last book
The male narrator may need a new mic, or tone down his volume when making overly loud noises like maniacal laughter, it was breaking up bad during those parts. Good follow up to the last book, though the MC still feels like he’s waffling again about getting stronger as if nearly being killed by a demon in the last book shouldn’t have nailed that home already, you have a family to protect…

this book is a lot of fun. especially love the VLDL and ATLA references. not the best book ever but if you made it this far into the series it is worth the listen

Light and fun
The story is getting a bit formularic but by no means does that take away from enjoyment. Yes the stats get a bit redundant but that goes with the territory, my only issue is trying to calculate how long the story actually is without all the stat time. lol

another great installment.
I am really enjoying the journey so far and cannot wait for the next installment. I took off one star because I never cared for talking animals. It seems they are becoming more prominent to the story.
Both Narrators Matt Hicks and Allie Piper did a great job narrating and were a perfect pair.

this is a solid 2 maybe 3 stars
it’s not great … its i feel the author trying to write a balanced story by making stupid restrictions to the mc … it started last book and continues… it feels like every fight scene is drawn out for no reason except to create unique cerfulufal … yeah cerfulfal … anyway … its ok but there isnt anything to draw you back into the story
