Interesting story

The story is an interesting twist on the genre. There is a fair amount of expositional thought and dialog though. I liked the characters and some of the mechanics are also interesting. The narration is ecellecnt@

Meh

The story had all the elements of a good one, but I did not enjoy it. I feel like the story was lacking something, along with the narration. The narration wasn't objectively bad, it just didn't seem to fit to.

even the God's were jealous

Killed because he gained more power than the God's could allow, reborn thanks to a trickster, can a man change his fate ? Fun story with a system stats and great narration.

It’s ok But

It’s a good story. It’s well written and fascinating storyline but I’m not quite sure. I like the main character. I would recommend you should read it for yourself. I am still up in the air of whether I’m going to get the next book or not.

To live again

To get a chance to live again in a younger body is what many people wish, and still remember all you knew. What I found most interesting was the time limit to gain power, but it also fits into the theory that there can only be one of you in the world without it failing.

unexplained

this almost feels like the second book in a series the magic system is odd and it's just kind of glossed over
why do mages need a channeler to cast spells? how are sigils made how do they work? how many gods are there? how do the elemental gods grant powers and if the god are the ones who provide the ability why do you need a relay system of mages to cast spells?

also the actual system is..... shallow would be the best way to phrase it
and feels less like creating new spells than buying them from the shop 100 dust and 100 xp gives you 1 level up sigil
the entire magic system is completely lacking in details

the story itslef is OK but the absolute lack of details is grating

Fun

Saul is the mage to an empire who gets booted to the past, given a System, and charged with surpassing his old self before his old self is born in twelve years. He starts in a small village beset by evil warlocks. He saves the village and moves on to save another. He learns an old friend of his has also come back in time. He must now find his friend and accelerate his power grab by two years. Book ends.

It’s an interesting story. The narrator has a smooth enticing voice. The system is new to both character and reader. The pace is steady . In all a pleasant listen. Please enjoy

Interesting Story

Unique use of system magic along with a smattering of other magics. Start could move a little faster, but character development is well done so far. Can't wait for the next installment.

What a fantastic addition to the ever expanding litRPG adventures!

I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook, Archmage Reborn by DB King as both storyline and the narrator work well together! This is what happens when a mage of renown is Reborn without his spellcraft, the spellcraft he's relied on his whole life, that and the power he's received from the 7 Gods he worships. When they double cross and exile him he's without hope. But an 8th God the trickster steps in saving him from the abyss and this trickster gives him a totally new magic, a system and subsequently he can power up undetectable by the Seven to get the revenge he so rightly deserves.
So pick-up the book and enjoy!
