About this listen

Some of the things that the psychopaths featured in this audiobook did will chill your bones.... It can be hard to understand what some serial killers have done to their victim’s corpses because it’s just beyond unthinkable, and yet, it did actually happen.

Be warned, this audiobook is not for the faint-hearted, and some people might find some descriptions very disturbing.

Most of us don’t see dead bodies very often, and while we encounter them for different reasons and have different reactions, very few of us indeed have ever looked upon the corpse of someone whose death we’ve caused. The act of killing, of destroying a life, is something most people would never consider. It can be hard enough putting down a sick pet or killing an animal for food. But a person?

There are, of course, murderers who kill for money or vengeance. To them, a dead body is an inconvenience, an unavoidable but undesirable concomitant of the killing. Their objective is to end a life, not to produce a corpse. But then, there are other killers, men and women who kill not just because they desire the death of their victims but because they need their bodies. They are necrophiliacs who have sexual relations with corpses. They are cannibals who consume the flesh of the dead. And there are some who go beyond that. They treat the human corpse like a farmer would treat the carcass of chickens, a butcher a cow, a hunter a deer. They use the human body to make things - food, decorations, and even more utilitarian items. Totally devious and beyond belief....

Some of the cases you’ll find in this audiobook include:

  • Making wigs
  • Selling "animal" meat
  • Creating cooking videos
  • Filling shoes for display
  • Selling cosmetic products
  • Making a flying potion
  • And more

Dead Mens Quilt . . .

If the morbid and macabre aspect of true crime fascinates you - then look no further!! This little book focuses on JUST that. And who did what *creepy* thing with their victims bodies. WITH full descriptions. Oh yes. Lock the doors and turn on every light in the house eerie.

If I could give this narrator 10 stars, I would! Lol! His narration was PERFECTLY sinister - and SO well suited for this narration! He really got into this, and made it sound even MORE diabolical. I love this guy. Hahahaaa.

A nice treat for in between credits that won't take a big bite out of you!
