Saying so long to suburbia, she heads for the wilds of Manhattan, where new friends and career opportunities loom and sexy men are hitting on her! But will Jill ever be able to step beyond the safe and secure world she's always known and take that leap into merry widowhood?

Self Absorbed Much?

I was hoping that the plot would involve more than a self-absorbed rich widow who never earned a dollar in her pampered life whine about being bored and lonely.

Instead of volunteering to help those less fortunate, Jill was not the least bit grateful for her many blessing or gave any thought to doing something productive.

I can't imagine why the author believed that Jill would be an interesting or engrossing main character, especially to the vast majority of women who actually work to support themselves and their families.
