I love it!

I really liked this one... it was better than the first book! I only wish it gave a little more at the end.

Entertaining!

I loved this book much more than the first. Both of their backgrounds were intense and I can see why they both lacked communication. Their were parts in the book that I wished Gianna would go off more. After everything her dad put her through I wished she had more sass but overall I was very invested!

heartbreaking and beautiful love story-we all need a Christian

two broken people that learn how to love. strong and honest heroin. loyal and possessive Hero. I honestly felt like I watched them fall in love with each other. I enjoyed their banter and very hot sex scenes.

The voice actors

I like the emotion the voice actors used when reading the book. I grew so attached to this book lol.

Perfection

These series is the best mafia romance out there. I had a little trouble with the MMC voice at first but after 15% I got used to it and ended up loving it! And my god what a man. The chemistry and sexual tension was off the charts, enemies to lovers and slow burn done to perfection!

In love

This book is sooooo good I didn’t believed I could fall in love with another fictional man after Nico but Christian !!!!!! He is the man I want now 😭

Great story... but the narration...

I really love this story and am looking forward to listening to book three in the series.

The female narrator did a wonderful job. When I read the book on my kindle, I assumed Gianna had more of an accent which would explain her getting the American sayings wrong. That would be the only thing I felt was lacking with Vanessa's performance.

The male narrator was not the right fit for this at all. I can't even say it's based on what I assumed when I read the book in ebook form. I'm saying it's not the right fit because the character is so cold and intense for most, if not all, of the book. The narrator sounded like the serial killer villain in a crime show.
In my mind, I couldn't stop seeing Kevin Spacey as the serial killer in Seven with Brad Pitt.
Christian was mean to be unsettling, a tad off putting so that when his story arc came full circle his idiosyncrasies became endearing. But the voice... was everything it shouldn't have been. He stayed in the "maybe he's a sociopath" column and that takes away from the HEA in the end.

I don’t know what it is about russian men but they are superior at melting hearts. wonderful story of overcoming pain, scars, & abuse to find love …2 perfect people for one another. loved it!

Great book! Loved the story. Ignore the reviews about the reader as he is exactly how this character would have spoken.
