Loved it!!!!!!

Great story with great characters. After reading this type of story, I would love to think this could actually happen. Move to a new place, start a new life and find love and friends. Possible? Perhaps only in books.

Unexpected!

I enjoyed being sucked into o a village of interesting people. I found an interesting concept in the telephone box library. Books I love were in the book, refreshing me.

Lovely Country Journey Through Grief and Possibilities

I loved the FMC and the way the author had her feel grief and how it can happen in the strangest times in the happiest moments, but you can still feel happiness and joy. Country life is beautiful but it takes a lot of work to maintain a beautiful garden and the author highlighted that well. It was fun to see how friendships can change you and remind you to breathe without being pounded over the head by it.

Cute Story

Books make a difference in anyone's life. This story is a testimony to that. Enjoy.

Lovely easy listening British story

A lovely little book. I really enjoyed reading about a fictional village back home in England. Just typical village life and very likable characters. Very easy listening and just a pleasant story. Just lots of fond memories of home recollected whilst listening to this book. The narrator was excellent, she did lots of different voices for the different characters and had a very pleasant voice to listen to.

Getting out of her own way

She had a huge Eeyore complex, understandably. But she forced herself to move beyond. At first only because its what she thought Mimi would have wanted for her but then finally her own wants and vulnerability started to speak louder. loved the reader. loved the characters especially Dianne.

I loved this book, and I hope for more books about this town & all the great characters, esp. the main characters.

Just the sweet and charming pick me up I needed after a dark, sad book. Excellent narration.

Wonderful book!

This story was so engrossing that I found myself looking forward to the next time I could listen to it. The narrator was perfect with her smooth tone and character depictions, her voices for each one exactly as I pictured it should be. The story was long but I never felt it drag. A wonderful story and a great way to tell it.
