That ending!

Holy crap!!

I sometimes forget how the author likes to leave us hanging and thirsty for more but holy Batman! That ending was a cliffhanger! Patiently waiting for the next audiobook to drop. I really enjoyed the fight to the death tournament and was completely hooked during those scenes. This is a fun enemies to lovers and I cannot wait to see what happens next with Lira and Tavish. There is so much between the two that needs to be revealed. The narrators, Willa Jaymes and Walker Williams did a wonderful
Job portraying both Lora and Tavish along with many of the other characters. They kept me engaged till the very end.

This series is perfect for fans of enemies to lovers, politics, deadly tournaments, and fae.

Loved the Chemistry and Story! It left me craving more, 😩

The audio was stunning. Storyline gripping from start to finish and I can’t believe I have to wait for the second. I’m excited nonetheless! 😭😭

OMG MY HEART JUST SHATTERED IN MILLION PIECES! I just finished the book and my heart is still racing from the last chapter. Wow. Just wow.. I have not felt like this from a series since I read ACOTAR. Amazing world building and the way this story is written.. I'm speechless, I'm in love, and also utterly heartbroken. This was such a gem find for me. I recently fell in love with Walker Williams voice as a narrator ever since I discovered him in "White Horse Black Nights". Ever since then I've been on the hunt for books he narrated. I'm so glad that it lead me to this book. Because if not, I don't think I would have come across this masterpiece. Thank you

Fantastic Start

5 ⭐ 1 🌶 5 🎧

This one kinda fell into my hands, but I am so freaking happy it did. I absolutely loved the start to Lira and Tavish's story. The plot, the tension, the action and suspense, it all grabbed me from the very beginning and never let go.

I loved the mystery surrounding Lira's past and the push and pull from Tavish. The chemistry was so strong between them and the forbidden mates aspect had me anxious and giddy all at once. The trials were so good and I really enjoyed how she battled and how the situation with Lorne unfurled. I couldn't get enough, especially after that cliffhanger, I neeeeed moreeeee!

The audio was fantastic too. Walker Williams and Willa Jaymes were tremendous in this DUET narration and audio sorceress did a fantastic job with production, as always. I can't wait for book two!

Ordered book 2 & 3 - wish they were on audible!

Absolutely loved this book - the details drew you and the narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the words to life. Wish the other 2 books had been recorded as well!

Lira and Tavish

Lira and Tavish are meant to be together... as children they were separated and as adults it was complicated to sat the least. A new series worth checking out.

Wow!

I love everything Jen writes but this might be my favorite story yet! This storybis captivating from the start and gets better ever chapter. I absolutely loved the dual perspective in this story it added so much depth to the story. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Love Tavish

So yummy! I feel in love with Tavish and Lira's characters. Filled with angst, drama, emotions, fantasy, awesome and oh em gee good!

Amazing performance. Just as good as dramatized version.

This author seems to have spent good money to have her book perform by amazing voice actors. Not only was the voices performed having a wide range for different characters but the emotions was there too. Also interesting which is never done except in a dramatized version with lots of performers the line in each paragraphs was spoken by both performers. This is unusual and takes more work so wow. The story was good it had a lot of annoying plot holes for me and I found there problems being spoken about redundant with no action to fix it. But other than that the plot was Action packed and had a good speed to keep you constantly engaging into the story. There was alot of feelings and emotions but not alot of spice which I liked but lots of Romance. I do feel the author is not afraid of spice and that she will probably spice it up alot on the next book but that the first book was to establish a slow burn and emotional connection which dispite it all you got all the feels. The Story I give a 4 stars but with the performance of the audio book it really elevates this book to a 6 starts if I could give it.
