poor editing

over all the series is good. gets a little tedious with Morgan always getting in harms way at the end and almost dying yet to survive and catch the next serial killer. The editing is poor. Morgan's age has changed from 21 to 26 then to 24 then to 23, not in sequence with the order of books in the series. I wish the author would change it up just a little. How many serial killers can there be in 1 small town??

I've just discovered Helen Phifer and the Detective Morgan Brooks series and I am hooked! I listened to the first two in two days and can't wait to discover more. Great narration too.

Excellent follow-up!

I loved the first of the series and was so happy to learn there were more! The second was a perfect continuation of the now-familiar characters and did not disappoint. Greatly looking forward to the next.

Loving this series

I’m so excited I found this author. Only Book two and I’m loving all the characters. But Amy is my favorite.

I honestly do not know which book I like more between this first book in this series or the 2nd!! I literally gasped a couple of times during this book!! Very well written and narrated!!!

OMG!

I loved this audio book. After they mentioned the DNA familial match I thought I guessed it. I guessed half of it, and the way this one left off, I CAN’T wait for the next one!

I'm going on to the next book. I love the way Helen writes. making the listen, fun, exciting and wanting to move forward to the next book.

Great story if you don't think too deeply into it

These stories all seem a bit unbelievable, but if you realize that going in, then they are still worth listening to. Especially so because the reader does an amazing job. I plan on continuing with the series since I really enjoy the characters.
