Acerca de esta escucha

A Necrons audio.

Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner are opposites. Each is obsessed with their own speciality and their rivalry spans a millennia. Yet together, they may hold the secret to saving the necron race....

Listen to it because: explore a story told across the millennia that delves deep into a pair of fascinating necron characters, their relationship and their plans for the galaxy.

The story: before the being called the Emperor revealed himself, before the rise of the aeldari, before the necrontyr traded their flesh for immortal metal, the world was born in violence. Even when they inhabited bodies of flesh, Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner were polar opposites. Trazyn, a collector of historical oddities, presides over a gallery full of the most dangerous artefacts - and people - of the galactic past. Orikan, a chronomancer without peer, draws zodiacs that predict and manipulate the future. But when an artefact emerges that may hold the key to the necrons’ next evolution, these two obsessives enter a multi-millennia game of cat and mouse that ends civilisations, reshapes timelines, and changes both forever. As riddles unwind and ancient secrets are revealed, the question remains: will their feud save the necron race or destroy it?

you can tell that the author actually cares about the lore and universe in this book

amazing.

This was a fun story to listen to and the narrator is fantastic. Richard Reed has great command over the character voices and brings them to life. The only issue I had with the audiobook is the way they deal with setting and time. The story skips around a lot without telling you and some details are long for an audio only medium. I had to rewind to make sure I got it all (and I still missed stuff). Overall a great story with some of the more unique characters in 40k

Great dense book

This is one of best books I have read (heard), it has everything. Though I love first three HH books, it is more like epic story of ancient times with just a little of merry moments (mainly by Tarik), but this book - great plot, story, tension, drama, humor (I have chuckled several times heartily), great climax, it kept me interesting the whole time I was listening, curious what comes next. The author is quite a genius (because there was also lot of complex ideas and thoughts) and performance of the narator also superb. Big thanks for this masterpiece :)

Absolute god tier piece of literature. literally 2 million year old robots trolling each other and fighting over a treasure map for 13 hours. Never gets old. God, I hope we get more Trazyn the Infinite novels

Best Warhammer 40k novel I've ever read

An absolute need to read, one that follows the rivalry of two amazing Necron characters over millennia of travels on the planet of Solemnace. As someone who has stuck primarily to the books that follow the loyalist humans and their exploits, this book was a fun break from the norm. The rivalry between the book's two protagonists is amazing, and I wish I could go into more detail about how it's pettiness has a massive impact on this planet and it's history, but I encourage y'all instead to enjoy it for yourself.

Millennia of Trickery and Hilarity

This was a very fun book about Traztn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner!

It really went into detail about how much prowess a necron lord has and how much mental fortitude an astromancer is truly capable of. On the other hand it also showed through the qualities of that which make a necron such a powerful titan in the galaxy that without your mind and soul connected as one you feel empty nonetheless.

I wish more necron lead books would be produced, and for those lack there of this book really paved the way of great necron story telling. 10/10

Long live Necrontyr!

best necron lore I've ever seen, really fleshes them out. also one of the most cleverly constructed 40k books ive read (think of a heist movie where it takes 10,000 for the plan to unfold, as whole civilizations rise and fall around the "vault")
