The Halfling’s Harvest

This was such a great read. I really enjoyed the story and all of the characters can’t wait to read more of SL Rowland work.

Wine, Women and Song

It was an tale of friendship and unique wine. I did enjoy the romance in the for the lead character, and it was only a small part of the story, but it was still touching. I am happy that the jerk of a vineyard owner got what was coming to him. The best part was how it ended, it is a complete story. I loved the way Jessica sang the song, it was amazing.

Quaint story

I have enjoyed three books in this world and loved each of them. Only negative thing I can say about this one is that the pacing felt off compared to the other two. there were parts of story where I lost focus due to it being a bit slower paced than the other two. however I will be listening again and again just like the other two stories and I am glad I found these tales.

I adore this cozy story!

This is a lovely story for anyone wanting a cozy escape. It’s great as a stand alone tale, but I enjoyed the winks and nods to the other Tales of Aedrea. If you love high fantasy and wine, you’ll love The Halfling’s Harvest! 🍷🩷

Halfling’s Harvest

In the halfling city of Willowbrook, it is almost time for the Harvest festival. A time for the halflings and their guests to enjoy the simple things in life. However, the contests in the festival are causing Marigold no end of stress. As the owner of the Dee Drop Inn and Vinyard, she is balancing running the inn, managing the vinyard, and trying to trying to win the wine competition. There is also the matter of a beautiful gnomess that is staying at the inn.

This is a great cozy fantasy series! It has such a fun Fall vibe. It’s pretty much an entire story told from the hobbit village from LotR! One of my favorite things is that each book in the series is a stand alone story, but also connected as the characters pass from one story show up briefly in the next. It’s a lot of fun seeing if you can identify what character might have their own story told next. These characters are so memorable and it was a joy to spend time with them. Eric Jason Martin and Jessica Threet do a great job with the narration. Jessica goes above and beyond with her singing in this book!

It was oddly nice for there to be no big bad not be reveal, just a beautiful world we got to look at for a time. Thank you for sharing

The character development, story line and pure romantic atmosphere was set perfectly.

My third book by this author. I love his way of telling stories! Wonderful writing, excellent plot, Lord the characters, cheered for Poppy and Marigold! The narrators did a wonderful job!

Wonderfully cozy return to Aedrea

If you're looking for an absolutely cozy, slice-of-life fantasy, coming back to the world of Aedrea is a no-brainer. This story has everything from wonderfully rich descriptions of food, wine, the wine making process, and the joys (and hassles) of making your place in your community. It had a sweet sapphic romance and plenty of lovely characters all around. The narrators did an amazing job bringing the world to life.
