Um... Kate is getting a little tedious. This is a peek into Kate's 6 months off from Underworld duty, but nothing actually happens.
They run into people who are fugitives and Kate invokes power that she doesn't possess yet to force Henry into letting these fugitives go. Oh and everything is left without any repercussions.
She is off with a guy who is trying to be more than a friend, she knows it, and yet even though she is a newly wed, she is playing the whole "he is just a friend" thing. So either she is dumb, or selfish.
I already bought book two... I guess i will see what happens in the autumn. :/

What did you love best about The Goddess Hunt?
This was a fun little follow up to the first book, and while it wasn't a full story it was a fun in-between tale that lead to a little more character building before moving on to the second book in the series. It was really great to get a little more background on Zeus' character, and follow along in the twists of Kate and James, even though you still want Kate to be with Henry the whole time.This was another audio book finish for me, but I listened to it so consecutively that I'm sure I finished it in less than a day.

It was just a nice quick little follow up story that fit between the first and second book.Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
