It was good

I liked both Jo and Sage
They’re characters were like able and believable. The story was good. No wholes. Pacing was consistent. I’m not sure why I didn’t LOVE this one as I do with most everything LJ Shen writes but The Endzone was just good for me.

Sweet

Loved both the narrators. So hot, just perfection! The story kept me interested and entertained. It is one I will enjoy again and again just to hear those sexy voices. Just wish the author did not make her so indecisive when she finally gets her dream. Author should have written her stronger with something else to fill pages. Wish it was longer.

such an amazing listen

i very much enjoyed this. the dynamic between the two main characters was wonderful. I found myself laughing out loud at some of their antics.

Good

This one is quick and well worth the listen! Though you're not given a lot of length with these characters, you're still given a lot of background in passing as the story progresses. It's a good friends-to-lovers story you'll be glad you tried!

Sugar Coated Confection

LJ Shen's The End Zone is nothing like her Sinners of Saint series, but it's just as delectable. Sage and Jolie have been best friends since they were ten and are now roommates as they finish their senior year of college. He's the star quarterback on the football team and primed for greatness - taking full advantage of the lifestyle afforded to him as an attractive, affluent athlete (do I sense a trend here?). All it takes is a scare, a naked collision, and some jealousy to prompt Sage into proposing they embark on a fake relationship, which swiftly leads to them fully realizing that there may be more than strictly platonic feelings between them. This was practically a sugar coated confection in comparison to LJ Shen's other tomes, and I'm all here for it! 5 out of 5 wine glasses.

Wow, another great book by Ms. Shen! I love the great romance between Jolie and Sage. This was a perfect short story that really hit the spot. The narration was spot on and hot, hot, hot. I’m looking forward to read/listening to more books by Ms. Shen.

Short, Sweet, and Simple

Short, Sweet, Simple, and too the point. That's what I loved about this. Sometimes after reading books that take me hours or days to read I like a nice book that only takes a couple hours.

Plus that epilogue with the wedding scene was the most adorable thing I've ever read in my entire life. LJ did an amazing job writing a short and sweet book that I feel everyone could love.

Sweet and hot short story

This childhood friends to lovers tale is sweet and hot. Sage and Jolie are childhood best friends who finally admit through the course of the story that their best friend love has become romantic love too. This sweet story gives you a little angst and lots of sparks.

Extremely descriptive sex

Sweet love story, believable characters, extremely descriptive sex. Would like for books to be rated because there was more f— words and descriptions of sex than I like.

Childhood best friends to lovers

This is my first book to listen to from this author & I have truly enjoyed it.
I loved the way that JoJo befriended Sage when he was new to town & his childhood wasn't so vreatw. She vowed then on that rainy night she'd be his friend no matter what s that's exactly what they've been for the last 10 years. Only on that night she gave him her heart as well. But will Sage ever see her any differently?
Sage & JoJo go to college together & are roommates but nothing more!!! Why because " he is a Ho!! " Sage has grown up to be quite the jock, and it doesn't hurt that he is like the hottest guy on campus who's fixing to become a NFL quarterback! And did JoJo mention her best friend is a man Ho!!!
This is a fast, fun and steamy read! I really enjoyed it & will be reading more from L.J. Shen💓
