Story flows much like the first book, and was still enjoyable to me. Continues with similar themes and the story keeps rolling along. It's a neat take on the Sword in the Stone. Wasn't the biggest fan of the audio performance/recording. There were times the audio would break abruptly and then continue, times where it sounded like the speaker turned away from the microphone and then came back, and of course the name pronunciations were all different from the first book. If you liked the first book, then this one will probably be just as good. Audio department could use some work.

I've read over a hundred Arthurian novels, this novel is unique as besides being very poetic, it includes the mythology of the invading Saxons, a Chthonic underworld Dragon, Celtic Faerie representation and dark demonic, light angelic influences. However, the narrator should stick with reading bedtime stories to his children! He uses the same voice for all the characters, mispronounces words, puts accents on wrong syllables and WORST OF ALL, leans away from the mic and suddenly too close, so his volume fades, then suddenly gets way too loud every 5min or so, enough to drive you crazy! They need a new narrator or just read this one! 🤬
