About this listen

It's not easy being a house that eats people.

Zaria was just a normal woman, living a simple life—until demons burst through her door and ate her heart. Reborn from tragedy, Zaria rises from the ashes as a Core, but with a twist. A rare mutation has turned her into a Mutant Core, destined to explode unless she forms a bond with a human witch to become a Striga.

Her mutation? Legs.

With the power of a full dungeon compressed into a walking house that is her body, Zaria sets out on a journey to find her Striga and avoid detonation. Along the way, she battles demons, builds her dungeon, and feeds her mimic mobs.

This is not the life she once knew, but it's the one she's determined to make work, no matter who she has to walk through to get there.

Unique to the genre

I loved this book. I gave it a shot because of the dinosaur dungeon series but this one is even better.

Can't wait for 2

One of my favorit takes on dungeon core yet! Why sit and wait for the he4oes when you can walk up and step on them. Also zekes voice is even better on a mimic.

Narrator should stick to adult romance

I really tried but narrator just ruins it for me. Narrator, when a character is literally "screaming in agony" why do you whisper? Narrator, when the action scenes start and monsters rage, why do you get so quiet I can't tell whats happening?? Narrator, why do you read the whole book like it's a porno??? The only voices that are clear and understandable are when individual characters speak or when the voice of the system appears. The main narrating voice is way too quiet and no one wants to hear a barely audible voice describing a "scene of chaos and blood" like you're describing last night's intimate encounter. Stop ruining litrpg books like that.

This is the beginning of a promising series

This is the beginning of a promising series the author needs to expand there a building as a storyteller what other than that it has good potential with great structure it's just keep in mind the threads need to be tighter In some places I'll load over the place and the fights can be just a little too worthy at Times but it shows such great promise and it's an interesting story I just wish that if they're going to use this sort of folklore that they had set in a Yugoslavian country

Mostly excellent...mostly.

Solid story overall. Love the Baba Yaga theme dungeon. My only complaints are the excessive use of innuendos and secondary plot that connects to the other series by the author. Author has two series still on book 1 in audiobooks while one them is definitely being mention multiple times in this book. I don't hate the secondary plot for the Core Verse, but atleast finish the audiobooks so we can keep up with the Core Verse plot.

Finally

Finally a book where the main character isn’t the cause of every obstacle they face. Keep it that way? Please…

Finally cool mimic content not polluted with edge lords

This was so fun and unique and not full of moody edgy guys being dorks. The pacing is pretty quick and requires paying fairly close attention, to not miss anything. This is in my opinion a good thing. So excited for the next book!!
