About this listen

Wrong side of the tracks - that's where Kayla's life has been. Her only saving grace was her sister, Braylin. When Braylin dies, Kayla goes on a mission to avenge her death. Nick is the mysterious stranger with the alluring devil's eyes. He is attractive, powerful, and dangerous. If not for her obsession for revenge, Kayla would never dare go near him. To lure Nick into her trap, she has to become what he needs while trying to fight against her growing desires. On a destructive path, Kayla enters a secret world of underground crime. The Devil's Eyes is a dark, intense romance novel.

Addictive!

If you could sum up The Devil's Eyes in three words, what would they be?

Dark, Suspenseful, Spicy

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Devil's Eyes?

When Kayla found out the truth.

Which character – as performed by Liona Gem and Blake Richard – was your favorite?

I can't choose between them. I loved both Nick and Kayla

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The darker side of life - one most of us never see and pretend doesn't exist.

Any additional comments?

Kayla makes it her mission in life to take the highly-powerful kingpin Nick down after her sister commits suicide, but the sparks that fly are highly erotic. This book shows just how closely related love and hate truly are!

Instead of a sweet romance with wedding bells at the end, Ms. Loren takes you into the darkness of an underground world which involves prostitution, money laundering drugs and more.

OMG!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Devil's Eyes to be better than the print version?

I loved this story!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Devil's Eyes?

This was a great find. It was an intense, loving, funny, sexy and dark all at the same time.
I can't wait for the rest of the series!!

What does Liona Gem and Blake Richard bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They did a great job with the narration.

Ok, I need the rest of this series like yesterday!

This was the BOMB!

Let me list the bombness of this book:

-First we have smexy time... lots of it. From prostitution to down right romance(y) smexy time... and it was all so good!

-Then we have violence... real violence...like people actually die... not in pretty ways either...like when you are a drug lord or gang king pin... you're not really all that nice...so the violence was expected...and needed for this book!

- Then there was drugs, comedy, and guess what... an actual storyline!

Ok... I want me some NICK so bad... I loved this book.. I loved NICK... but what I really loved was how Kayla and Nick didn't just fall in love... and Nick kinda used Kayla in the beginning...

I totally knew something was up with Kayla's john.... because he got all creepy...but let me tell you... this story just flowed... I mean... I was like why is Nick doing this to her... is he crazy...then I was like...why is Kayla doing that...is she stupid... Nick is gonna kill her...and then when Kayla tried to kill Nick! OMG funny!!!

Look...if your a fan of dark romance, with violence and real life situations in it...well this is definitely for you... I loved every single morsel of this ...I so need the rest of this series like yesterday!!! It is a must for Audible to get the rest of this series... INSTANT DOWNLOAD!

Narration: OK... everyone who has read my reviews know I hate dual narration...but this was so good.. Like the female narrator did all the female voices and the male narrator did all the male voice... and they did it simultaneously... So let's say a conversation is going on... with multiple people... both narrators would kinda yell and talk over each other...like real conversations tend to happen, but you still can tell who is talking and what is going on because the narrators was so darn good!

AMAZING! Now if all dual narration books was like this, I would eat them up with one gobble! This was great...

5-STARS!

A total credit or sale book.. It is a bit pricey so a buy may not be your thing...it's well over 10 bucks...but let me tell you... It was worth it... I would buy this if I was feeling froggy... and really needed something good to listen too..

good

I really like the way this book was read. Really like the male parts read by male and female reads female parts. It really adds to the book. And you don't have to get through male trying to sound like female and female trying to sound like male. I wish all books were read in this way.
worth a credit
