This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... They left the outtakes in the finished audiobook!
For some reason, the editors didn't edit out the different takes of the narrator reading parts of this audiobook! Several times you can even hear the narrator saying, "ok, I want to try that one again" before repeating the same sentence three times! I have listened to hundreds of audiobooks and I have never heard anything this poorly produced. The story itself is alright, but it's hard to get into the feel for the horror story when you are repeatedly made aware that this book is being read to you by someone.
