Loved it!!!

Mary did it again!! A beautifully written book. I couldnt put it down. I love the enemies to lovers trope and I loved Bristol's growth and realness through the whole story. I can't wait for the next one!

Beautiful

This book is different than any other book I’ve read. It’s incredibly well written and is everything I hoped the cruel prince would be. ADORED IT!!! The performance of the narrator was incredible. Go for it. The story won’t be what you expect… it will be so much better.

Frequent mispronunciation and inability to make voice change sound masculine.

This narrator should promptly take some extra reading classes or the writer needs to spell correctly. There are so many words mispronounced including the name of the far world. For example Elphame = El-fuh-me not El-fame… Trows TR-OWS not T-ROSE… also let’s be clear we’re not reading in French so no reason to dictate it as such, but another example, a secondary characters name is Maire, which is a scottish name pronounced Mah-ree it’s the gaelic version of Mary. Very frustrating. The next complaint is the voice of the MMC still sounds like a female, it’s hard to tell characters apart especially when it’s a book written in 3rd person. She sounds like she makes everyone a female ogre if they are male. Odd. Sorry but it’s a no for me.
