About this listen

When Jim Qwilleran's friend Polly decides to spend two weeks on vacation with an old girlfriend in Oregon, he finds himself at a loose end—but not for long. A visit from Nick Bamba brings news of a hotbed of mystery.

Nick and his wife fear that their new venture, the Domino Inn, won't see out one summer season, let alone a lifetime. A series of fatal accidents on the recently developed Breakfast Island is beginning to deter further visitors, forcing Jim and his cats, Koko and Yum Yum, to scramble for clues.

good book

it is amazing how many storms the lead character goes through, dark and stormy night. the plot was good, and the reader can keep up easily, but the best evidence is only available to the lead character. I much prefer other books of the author that have evidence everyone else over looks. narrator brought the characters to life, and the book is recommended to adults both young and old.

Koko Does It Again!

This is one of the better Cat Who series. I always love the cats, and they are again irrepressible. The new characters are interesting, and the new setting described vividly. Good mystery, balanced with humor.
I can't wait for the next book!

WOW, George Guidall brings it all to life

What did you love best about The Cat Who Came to Breakfast?

I have read all the cat books and must say that the audio versions are even better than the books, especially with Guidall as the reader. Just makes me understand the characters better hearing his interpretation.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Not really, this is light reading, cute and fun

What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?

He nails the lead character and actually makes him much more likeable

An excellent "Cat Who" story as always

I have never been able to get enough of these wonderful stories from 400 miles north of everywhere. George Guidall is easily my favorite narrator and is the perfect fit for the adventures of Mr. Q and his animal companions.

The Cat Who Left A Review...

This had been and will always be my favorite. Worth every penny. George Guidall delivers a fantastic narrative as usual. Audible really should complete the series.

Totally missed the solution! But the cat knew!

I am continually amazed at Braun's twists and turns. Humor and intrigue mixed together.
I love all these books, but this one was, by far, the most intricate and captivating!

The cat who came to breakfast.

Loved it of course. Love the author, love the reader, love the series. I would listen to War & Peace of if George Guidell read it.

Very entertaining

I read The Cat Who books several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed them. I thought I'd try the audio book version and am now hooked on them.
