The word "carnivorous", which appears in the title of this book, means "meat-eating", and once you have read such a bloodthirsty word, there is no reason to read any further. This carnivorous volume contains such a distressing story that consuming any of its contents would be far more stomach-turning than even the most imbalanced meal.

It would be best if I didn't mention any of the unnerving ingredients of this story, particularly a confusing map, an ambidextrous person, an unruly crowd, a wooden plank, and Chabo the Wolf Baby.

To avoid causing discomfort, your time might be better filled with something more palatable, such as eating your vegetables, or feeding them to someone else.

Great, but despicable book. Olaf is SOOOOOOO demented he takes psychopaths to a new level. I pray they get out of this physically unscathed because mentally, well..

The Baudelaires get dragged off this time to a carnival! Fantastic narration, excellent irony, and a new colorful cast of characters.

The audio book helps me "read" when I am busy. For example, when I am taking a walk or in the car I can listen to the book and I don't have to read.

I love it!!!

I loved this book it really draws you in and is super funny! It contains some scary scenes, but overall great for all ages. Tim Curry makes the story come alive and I love his narration! Especially each unique voice for each character. If you're looking for something soothing then I would not recommend this book, it's very high speed and hard to keep up with and the voices are not soothing, if your listening to this in bed. I definitely love this book and recommend it and the rest of the Series of Unfortunate Events books, this is not the first one so do not buy this book if you haven't listened to the other ones. 😊😊
