About this listen

A random murder in a public park. An artist wracked by fantastical and haunting dreams. A police inspector confronting the depraved rites of a voodoo cult. Intrepid sailors pitted against a diabolical monstrosity risen from the bottom of the sea. And one man, doomed to understand that such things foretell madness and the end of mankind.

Audible needs more dramatizations

This has inadvertently set my standard for dramatizations... Which this app desperately needs more of.

Dramatized Favorite Tale of Horror

Another wonderful adaptation of an HP Lovecraft story, expertly brought to life by the multitalented members of the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society. The cast and production are superb. These dramas are highly addictive and I will be collecting them all!

Absolutely phenomenal story telling

I loved skateboarding 12 miles to this. The voice acting was excellent. I really enjoyed their rendition of call of cthulhu.

It was great!

They did a great job transitioning it to a radio broadcast! I do wish they would do a full audiobook reading with different voice actors, and some ambient background noises and music though, I miss descriptions of people and places.

Another great title!

I have listened to The Call of Cthulhu before, but not like this. A great piece of acting, great sound effects (applied at just the right level), and beautiful end-to-end editing and polish. Bravo!

Great radio play!

Loved it. I liked that it was a whole radio play and not just an audiobook. Very entertaining!
