excellent adaptation of a classic

All I have to say about this work is I adore the HP Lovecraft Historical society. i was thrilled from the start to finish. can't wait to hear others. I have Dagon to hear next.

Best version of this story yet!

I've listened to several different readings of this story as well as several dramatizations of it and this one has surpassed them all. It stayed true to Lovecraft's work while bringing that work to life in such a cool way. Please keep these Daek Adventure programs coming!

great rendition

I've seen and read reanimator and this dramatization makes the story even better. I hope they try to make this version into some sort of film.

Mad Scientist Episode

This was another great episode of Lovecraft horror. Differs from the film and manages to be creepy and disturbing. As always, the voice cast is superb. Love the Miskatonic school song! A scientist who really is mad to the core.

Great performance

The actors are great. They make you see the words. The added sound effects bring the story to life (a car driving by, a horse drawn carriage, people talking in the background, glass breaking). Every character has a different voice. Great reading. I loved it.

Always entertaining

Love the entire range of the “Radio Theatre”. I’m a fan of HP Lovecraft and they way they present the stories in the theme of the early radio broadcasts just adds to the enjoyment. They are very abridged so you need to be aware but for a car journey. I like them.

A Perfect Adaptation

This dramatized adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s “Herbert West—Reanimator” is a fun and exciting way to experience the classic tale of a deranged medical professional and his obsessive pursuit of life after death. The music, pacing, voice work and narration all make for an experience reminiscent of a Golden Age of Radio broadcast. It’ll keep you on the edge of your seat, anxiously anticipating each new and terrifying horror!

Brilliant fellows. I had to listen to this a second time to really appreciate it. It is a tight work and represents the story accurately. I wish it were longer.

Great production and performance. Multiple narrators. very pompous (in a good way), with various and frequent sound effects (not to everyone's taste - in usually not a fan but here it works perfectly).
