About this listen

He broke his vows. He broke her heart. Now she is going to break him.

Alison is happily married to Graham, or at least she is until she discovers that he has been cheating on her. Her husband has broken the vows that he made on their wedding day. How could he do it? It takes Alison a while to figure it out, but at least she has time on her side. Only that is where she is wrong.

A devastating diagnosis means the clock is ticking faster now, and the betrayed wife must act fast if she wants revenge on her cheating partner. Alison does just that, implementing a dangerous and deadly plan, and it's one that will have far-reaching consequences for several people, including her clueless husband.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

I loved it. The revenge was beyond crazy. And the plot twists. Highly recommend. Not sure if they deserved what they got but a woman scorned is not to play with

The plot twist!

Good story line but the male narrator was a bit of a distraction with the mouth breathing and lip smacking. More of a technical issue rather than the narrator himself as I think he did a great job.

Mouth breathing

I liked the overall story and the female narration was good BUT the male narrator sounded like he had a lozenge in his mouth and at times you can hear him move it around in his mouth. It was extremely difficult to finish it, but I needed the completion of the story.

Good story

This was a great story but the narrator for Graham was AWFUL!! You could hear every single time he swallowed, when he had too much saliva in his mouth and every other DISGUSTING noise he made. It ruined the book.

The mouth noises from the narrator 🤬

First book I've listened to from this author. I really enjoyed it! I am looking forward to listening to another book by him!

Very Good

The storyline was decent, the “twist” at the end was good. The “twist” in the middle was a bit predictable, “Jasmine” was easily identified. The male narrator’s voice was ok, the mouth noises were not. The female narrator’s voice was ok, the way she said Whitaker and Zinfandel was not. She said Zin - fan - del and Whit - A - ker. That was weird and off putting.

Pretty good, a little predictable

Think the title says it all… Had high hopes for the novel - until last chapter.

Ending Sucks

I agree with the reviews that say the male narrator's part is full of mouth breathing, swallows and lip smacking. It's really bad. Story is okay. A few surprises. But it's really hard to get past that male actor's voice.

Misophoniacs Beware

I loved the story but the male reader was tough to listen to. I also couldn’t keep listening because of the swallowing sounds he’d made. Maybe that’s how they wanted it to sound but it was very distracting and cringey while he spoke…and he spoke a lot. Glad I held on to finish the book because it was overall really good!

Everything was great but the Male reader

Very good book wasn’t expecting the ending! The male author swallowing and smacking almost made me stop listening! That needs to be fixed ASAP!
